Meet The Team
Meet the Team:
This summer Saraswati was blessed to have been joined by three amazing interns in the birthing process of creating this e-commerce site. They worked all summer as models, photographers, social media stars, content generators, inventory uploaders, Brand Ambassador liaisons, and so much more. Soon they will each be returning to their final undergraduate year at school, but undoubtedly the connections we forged in the summer of 2018 will carry us all forward into future collaborations and celebrations. These women will be part of the Saraswati Team forevermore.
Meet the women who have been instrumental in every step of this site and going public with the Saraswati brand:

Keelin Bailey“If you’re pretty you’re pretty, but the only way to be beautiful is to be loving. Otherwise it’s just; congratulations about your face.” – John Mayer Keelin Bailey is one of the three interns at Saraswati Shop focusing on the Social Media and Branding for the beauty driven company. What’s that entail? Assisting in the creation of Saraswati Shop Retail Website, demonstrating research, marketing, and writing skills, managing the company’s Facebook, Instagram, and Hootsuite platforms, developing a market with new and pre-existing brands, and lastly, working with semi-precious stone jewelry imported from vendors in South East Asia. Keelin has one more semester of studying Fashion Communication and Promotion at Lasell College in Boston, Ma. She is a small town girl from Otis, MA, which is located in the heart of the Berkshires. She thoroughly enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and friends… and when there is a chance to get up and dance you can bet that she’s kickin’ off her heels. As an intern and member of the Saraswati team, Keelin strongly believes that our minds and spirits drive us, and that if our team has positive qualities and genuine character, then beauty and success will be the natural outcome. |

Rachel Godwin“Be the CEO your parents always wanted you to marry.” Rachel Godwin attends Marist College in New York where she is majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing and minoring in Fashion Merchandising. She is one of the first interns working with Saraswati Shop to create our e-commerce site. She is excited and grateful about having had this opportunity to translate her passions into a reality and to be able to contribute to the start of such an empowering company. Born and raised in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts, she loves taking advantage of everything the area has to offer. She has an incurable case of wanderlust and in addition to fashion, her strong passions include dogs, chocolate, coffee, and friends. Upon graduating, she hopes to travel and be able to check off many of the places on her bucket list before hopefully starting a career in Merchandise Buying and/or Planning. Having the opportunity to intern with Saraswati Shop taught her that staying positive and working hard always does pay off. |

Jenny James“The divorce rate among my socks is astonishing.” Jenny James is currently a senior at Babson College majoring in Business and concentrating in Marketing and Sustainable Design Engineering. She has a passion for photography and fashion and has been excited to share her passions as one of the first interns for Saraswati Shop. She is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with two other amazing interns with whom she has been able to learn and grow at such an inspiring company. Jenny is sometimes known as the resident crazy cat lady as she is always chasing one of Elisa’s (Saraswati Shop’s president) cats to cuddle. She loves animals and nature as she grew up working on a farm in a small town in central Massachusetts called Barre. She also shares a love for plants and flowers, believing that they bring a bit of love and beauty to any setting. She has managed to fit 23 potted plants and succulents into her 9’x10’ dorm room! After Jenny graduates, she plans on traveling extensively before settling down and hopefully attending medical school for dermatology. While she may sound like she’s ‘all over the place’, she actually knows exactly what she wants. |
